School board approves tax hike to fund Paducah city schools

You’ll be paying higher taxes to fund Paducah city schools.

The school board has approved a tax hike to increase revenue.

The levy was 77.1 cents on $100 of real and personal property.

The vote will raise that to 80 cents.

So, if you own a $100,000 home, that means you’ll pay about $29 more per year.
