Man accused of hitting woman with car twice

Deputies arrested a St. Charles, Kentucky man accused of hitting a woman with his car twice.

Rex Holdway, 26, faces several charges including assault, wanton endangerment, and driving under the influence.

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department says they were called to Nortonville Road in St. Charles on Sunday.

They say that’s where they found Holdway got into a fight with his girlfriend Victoria Carner and tried to leave.

Investigators say several people tried to keep Holdway from leaving and that’s when Holdway struck Nikeshia Moore-Furguson with his car.

Deputies say Holdway then turned around and struck her a second time before driving away.

Deputies arrested him a short time later.

Moore-Furguson is recovering at a local hospital.
