Paducah man charged with attempting to murder former girlfriend

A Paducah man was arrested and charged with attempted murder.

On August 20, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office was informed by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department that 20-year-old Jalen Yarber was on his way to Marshall County armed with a gun and was upset with his former girlfriend.

Yarber was found in the Jonathan Creek area armed with a loaded rife and hand gun.

Investigators say Yarber had traveled to the victim’s home with the intent of killing her.
