Rand Paul to address Eagle Council training conference
Conservative interest group the Eagle Forum announced Wednesday that Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul will address it’s 44th annual Eagle Council training conference in St. Louis.
"We are very glad that Senator Paul can join our lineup next month," Eagle Forum founder and president Phyllis Schlafly said. "We are happy to have him attend council and present his vision for this nation’s future."
"He has taken many bold stands on the Senate floor, and I am sure that he will bring some good points to the conversation next month," Schlafly said. "Eagle Council is the best training that grassroots activists can get, and I am sure that getting to know Rand Paul and other candidates next month will help us nominate a solid conservative leader to represent our party in 2016."
According to the group’s website, the event will be held Sept. 11-13, at the St. Louis Airport Marriott.
Other candidates scheduled to speak at the event include Dr. Ben Carson, Rick Perry, Mike Huckabee, Ted Cruz, and Rick Santorum. To see the full tentative schedule for the Eagle Council training conference, click here.
