Local food pantry in need of key food items

A local food pantry is in need of key supplies to help those in need.

The Paducah Cooperative Ministry say high demand over the summer from their emergency food assistance program has left some of their shelves bare.

The food pantry is looking for these items to be donated:
– Peanut butter
– Ramen noodles
– Meals in a can ( beef stew, ravioli, chunky soups, chicken & dumplings, etc.)
– Spaghetti noodles
– Spaghetti sauce
– Rice
– Instant potatoes
– Saltine crackers
– Canned soups
– Tuna helper
– Macaroni and cheese
– Jelly
– Nutritional drinks/supplements
– Breakfast cereal (cold or hot)
– Individually packaged items such as Pop Tarts, oatmeal, etc.
– Baby formula
– Baby food
– Diapers

You can drop off these items at their office at 402 Legion Drive, right behind Mike Smith Kia on Paducah’s south side. They are open weekdays 9:00 a.m. – Noon and 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
