Mayfield woman charged with stealing from Hardin Dollar General

A Mayfield woman was arrested and charged with stealing from the Hardin Dollar General store.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office says the theft happened on Thursday, August 27th.

Management told a deputy that a woman had stolen items and she was still in the store.

The deputy found the woman as she tried to exit the store and found stolen merchandise in her purse.

She then tried to run away on foot but was arrested.

27-year-old Pracilla Preuett was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking shoplifting $500 and fleeing or evading police.
