13-year-old girl killed in Trigg County wreck

A Cadiz girl died as a result of a wreck on U.S. 68 in Trigg County, about a mile east of Cadiz, Thursday afternoon, according to Trigg County Emergency Management. 

Trigg County Emergency Management Deputy Director Paula Flood said the wreck happened at 3:22 p.m. Thursday.

Flood said the Trigg County Coroner’s Office reports 13-year-old Sarah Reddick was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash around 3:44 p.m.  The girl was riding in a vehicle with her grandmother, Linda Caldwell of Cadiz, when the wreck happened. 

The Kentucky State Police is reconstructing the accident. KSP, the Cadiz Police Department, The Trigg County Sheriffs Office, Trigg County EMS and Trigg County Rescue responded to the scene, along with the coroner’s office.
