Paducah Police: Man shot while answering door at Elmwood Court Apartments

Paducah Police are investigating the shooting of a man late Saturday at Elmwood Court Apartments.

Police were called at 11:19 p.m. Saturday to a report of a shooting at an apartment in the apartment complex.  When they arrived, officers found Julian Fisher lying on the front porch with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Police said someone knocked on the door and when Fisher answered it, he was shot.  Fisher told police he does not know who shot him.  Fisher was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
