Illinois State Police searching for persons of interest in shooting

Illinois State Police are asking for the public’s help finding two persons of interest in a shooting in East Cape Girardeau Sunday night. 

ISP says four men got into an argument with the victim around 8:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Illinois Route 146 and Brookwood Drive in East Cape Girardeau. 

The victim, was shot multiple times, and state police say he was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injuries. 

The four men were last seen headed westbound over the Cape bridge in a two-tone (Burgundy and a lighter color), newer model Ford crew cab pickup truck, ISP says.The truck has a ladder rack in the bed. Troopers say two of the four were recorded on surveillance video, and provided a still from that recording.
