Funeral arrangements made for Kentucky State Trooper

Funeral arrangements have been made for the Kentucky State Trooper killed in the line of duty.

Trooper Cameron Ponder was fatal shot on Interstate 24 Sunday evening.

A visitation for Trooper Ponder will be held Thursday from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Stithton Baptist Church, 95 Park Avenue, Radcliff, Kentucky.

The funeral will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Severns Valley Baptist Church, 1100 Ring Road in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

There will be no visitation before the funeral.

A motorcade procession will be held for Trooper Ponder following the funeral on Friday.

The motorcade will leave Severns Valley Baptist Church around Noon and take Ring Road to Dixie Highway US 31-W. The motorcade will proceed north on US 31-W through Elizabethtown and Radcliff, and end at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.

The public is invited to watch the motorcade.
