Section of state road in Graves County to close Monday

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says it plans to close a section of Kentucky 1748 in Graves County on Monday so a cross drain can be replaced.

KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says KY 1748 will be closed between the 0 and 1 mile marker, which is between KY 339 and Bateman Cemetery Road in the Obion Creek Branch area near the intersection with Oldham Road.

The site is expected to close around 7:30 a.m. Monday and reopen around 3:30 p.m. the same day. Todd says there will be no marked detour.
