Webster County constable charged with sexual abuse, burglary

A Webster County, Kentucky constable was charged with sexual abuse and burglary.

A woman called Kentucky State Police on Saturday saying that she had been sexually assaulted at her home in Sebree.

The woman said that Webster County Constable Dennis Shelton came to her home and said he needed to talk to her.

She said Shelton then came into her home without her consent and exposed himself.

Shelton was arrested on Monday and charged with sexual abuse and burglary.

He was taken to the Webster County Jail.
