Caregiver charged with stealing medication from Paducah woman

A Symsonia woman was arrested and charged with stealing medication from a woman in her care.

Paducah police say 55-year-old Phyllis Robinson was a paid caregiver of a Paducah woman.

According to police, Robinson took pain medication from the woman several times between April and July.

Robinson was charged with unlawful taking or disposition of a controlled substance and wanton abuse/neglect of an adult.

She was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
