Drug Take Back Day this weekend

You can safely get rid of unwanted prescription medication this weekend.

Saturday, September 26, is Drug Take Back day.

Police departments all across the Local 6 area will be taking part.

Medication gathered will be given to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency for proper disposal.

Here are the drop-off locations in the Local 6 area:

Carbondale – Carbondale Police Department, 501 South Washington Street, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Massac County – Massac County Sheriff’s Office, 515 Market Street, Metropolis
Harrisburg – Saline County Courthouse parking lot, 10 East Poplar Street, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Pulaski – Rogan’s Country Pharmacy, 201 East Commercial Street, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Marion – Williamson County Administration Building, 407 North Monroe Street, 10:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m.

Paducah – Kentucky Oaks Mall, 5101 Hinkleville Road, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Madisonville – KSP Post 2, 1000 Western Kentucky Parkway, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Poplar Bluff – Black River Coliseum, 301 South 5th Street, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
