Another Kentucky clerk prepared to deny marriage licenses

Another Kentucky clerk says he is willing to accept the same consequences as Kim Davis for denying marriage licenses to same sex couples.

Casey County clerk Casey Davis has been supportive of Kim Davis’ stance against the Supreme Court ruling.

But unlike Rowan County, no one has filed suit against Casey County.

While Casey Davis has not had any requests from same sex couples in his county, he says he is fully prepared to say no.

Davis says the ball needs to be in the governor’s court, or at least the general assembly’s, to fix the problem.
