Motorcycle crash kills Providence, Kentucky man

A Providence, Kentucky man was killed after the motorcycle he was riding crashed.

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office says 54-year-old Dennis Blackwell was riding his motorcycle westbound on Ilsley Road Thursday afternoon, when he failed to go around a sharp curse in the road near 1575 Ilsley Road.

The motorcycle crossed the road and hit a guardrail, throwing Blackwell from the motorcycle.

Blackwell was pronounced dead at the scene.
