Overturned semi blocks traffic in McCracken County

Clark Line Road at Gilbert Lane in McCracken County was blocked for a couple of hours on Friday due to an overturned semi.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office says 44-year-old Gregory Cruse was driving a semi loaded with grain on Clark Line Road.

Cruse says the right side tires dropped off the side of the road and he tried to get them back on the road, but the drop off was too steep.

The steep drop off caused the semi to roll onto its side.

Cruse was taken to a local hospital for non-incapacitating injuries.

The road was closed for about three hours for clean up.
