Traffic signal being changed to improve traffic in Calvert City

Changes are being made at a traffic signal in Calvert City, Kentucky.

The changes are being made to the left turn lights at the intersection of US 62 and KY 95.

Right now, left turns are only allowed on green arrows.

The change will allow traffic to turn left on a green light after yielding to oncoming traffic.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the change will help improve traffic flow at the intersection.

Crews are working on the changes Monday and should be some mid-afternoon.
