Second water main break reported in Union City, Tenn.

UPDATE: City Manager Kathy Dillon says the break was caught early enough that a boil order was not issued.

ORIGINAL STORY: A second water main break will leave people in Union City, Tennessee without water again Tuesday night.

We just spoke with City Manager Kathy Dillon. She tells us crews are on their way to repair another water main break one block away from the previous break that happened Saturday.

All lines will be shut off in about 30 minutes so crews can repair the water main.

Crews will have to tear up some of the road to repair the break, so it isn’t known how long it will take to repair the break.
