U.S. 60 blocked at Dyer Hill Curve

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a section of U.S. 60 is closed in our area because of a large tree that fell.

KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says the tree is blocking the road on U.S. 60 at Dyer Hill Curve at mile marker 17 in Livingston County, just east of Burna.

The transportation cabinet originally reported that a semi had hit the tree, but now workers believe the tree simply fell. Todd said it’s estimated that it will take at least an hour to clear the roadway.
