Car flips on Old Mayfield Road in McCracken County

Emergency crews responded to the scene of a one-vehicle crash at 7320 Old Mayfield Road in McCracken County Friday.

According to police at the scene, the driver of the red car lost control —likely due to wet pavement because of the rain. The car hit a ditch and flipped, landing on its top. The driver was not seriously injured.

Traffic was down to one lane while waiting for a wrecker to arrive.
