Local university celebrating homecoming this weekend

It’s homecoming weekend at Murray State University.

On Saturday, the Racer football team will take on Austin Peay State University.

The day begins with a parade.

The Homecoming Parade starts at 9:30 a.m. and will head down Main Street.

Following the parade, Tent City will be open inside the walls of Stewart Stadium.

There will be more than 50 tents featuring about 100 organizations.

The game will kick-off at 3:00 p.m. and the King and Queen will be crowned at half-time.
