Deputies: Man ran stop sign and sent minivan into home

Two people were taken to the hospital after a car slammed into a home in McCracken County.

Deputies were called to the intersection of Thorndale and Longview Drive around 5:15pm Saturday. They say Jessica O’Neal, of Paducah, and her two children, Maddox and Kennedy, were traveling in a 2012 Honda minivan eastbound on Longview Drive when a 2011 Ford pick-up driven by Jeffery Carr, of Paducah, ran the stop sign at the intersection of Thorndale  and Longview Drive.

Carr hit O’Neal and sent her minivan into the front porch of a nearby home.  O’Neal and one of her children were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
