One intersection to close, another to reopen with Kentucky Avenue in Paducah

An intersection with US 45/Kentucky Avenue will be reopened to traffic, while another will be closed on Monday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the 21st Street intersection with Kentucky Avenue should reopen to traffic around 10:00 a.m.

About an hour later, the Kentucky Avenue intersection with South 16th Street will be closed.

New concrete pavement will be put in the intersection during the closure.

During the work there will be no right-hand turns from Kentucky Avenue westbound to 16th Street northbound.

The work is a part of the ongoing reconstruction along Kentucky Avenue.
