Power outages planned in Trenton, Tenn. Wednesday

Gibson Electric Membership Corporation in Trenton, Tennessee, has planned two power outages for Wednesday, Oct. 14. 

Gibson Electric says about 85 members on sections of Brevard Road, Salem Church Road, Burress Road and Todd Thomas Road will experience a planned outage beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14.  

That same day, another 14 members on Brevard Road between Highway 5 and Norton Road will experience an outage starting at 10:30 a.m. Gibson Electric says the outages are required to complete a 25kV conversion. It says the conversion will enhance service reliability for members in the long term. Service is expected to be restored within one and a half to two hours.
