Judge approves hiring of lawyer for Sansone Group

The Sansone Group now has a lawyer to represent them in their lawsuit against Paducah Economic Development and its President Scott Darnell.

Friday morning, a judge approved a motion allowing the St. Louis business to have local representation.

Brian McGovern will be representing the Sansone Group.

The suit, filed late last month, alleges defamation by Paducah Economic Development over Sansone’s proposed shopping center development.
