One woman dies, two others injured in southern Illinois crash

Illinois State Police is investigating a deadly crash on Illinois Route 13 in Saline County Saturday afternoon.

ISP says Nicole Wright was driving eastbound on Route 13 when for unknown reasons she drifted into another lane and over-corrected her vehicle.  It hit a ditch and overturned.

Lesa Grover was a backseat passenger and was thrown from the vehicle.  ISP says she was not wearing a seat belt.  She died at the scene.  Wright was taken to a hospital in Evansville, Indiana.  A 10 year-old boy was in the front seat.  He was also taken to an Evansville hospital.

There is no word on their condition.  Wright was given a citation for improper lane usage.
