Man arrested in Paducah on Graves County attempted burglary charge
A Benton, Kentucky, man was arrested Wednesday in Paducah and charged in connection with two burglaries and an attempted burglary in Graves County.
Kyle Courtney, 24, was arrested Wednesday after, the Graves County Sheriff’s Office says, he was captured on video surveillance Tuesday trying to burglarize a home in the Boaz area.
Courtney was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the Paducah Police Department on a charge of second degree criminal attempt to commit burglary, and he was transferred to the Graves County Jail.
When he arrived at the jail, he was charged with two counts of second degree burglary. The Graves County Sheriff’s Office said those charges stem from a burglary the same home in September.
Courtney was self-employed as a lawn care worker. Deputies say he had been mowing the grass at the home in the case.
