KSP: Man shot during dispute, no charges expected

UPDATE: KSP says the shooting was not a random home invasion but a dispute between two acquaintances. Gibson is in stable condition. KSP says no charges are currently expected to be filed, but the evidence will be presented to a grand jury.  

ORIGINAL STORY:

On Friday, Kentucky State Police were called to a home in Henderson County for a report of a possible home invasion in Hebbardsville.

The caller, Henry Butler, told troopers he shot Freddy Gibson as Gibson was trying to break into his home. KSP says Gibson drove to Butler’s home to confront him.  KSP says Butler got a shotgun and shot Gibson.  Gibson was taken to a hospital for his injuries.
