Update: Two people arrested, Floyd Cook still missing

We know now the two people arrested in White House, Tennessee Wednesday night are Katie McCarty and Troy Wayne.

Police say McCarty and Wayne were driving Floyd Cook’s car when they pulled them over at a gas station. Marshals say the pair drove their car toward officers, prompting those marshals to fire at the car. The two then sped off, hit two other vehicles and crashed into the fence. The pair ran off after the crash.

Police found McCarty in a nearby field covered in mud. Wayne was arrested after a manhunt overnight.

Floyd Cook is wanted after police say he shot a Tennessee Police officer and a Kentucky Authorities have been tracking Cook’s car since Sunday. Those authorities say Cook is still on the run and should be considered armed and "as dangerous as they come."
