Manhunt Over, Floyd Cook shot and killed

The manhunt for Floyd Cook is over. Two Kentucky State Police Officers and a Marshal found Cook hiding in a ditch near Burkesville, Kentucky early Friday morning. Authorities had been tracking him since late Thursday evening. 

Police say a helicopter with thermal imaging equipment spotted Cook near old Highway 61. When KSP officers and a Marshal approached Cook, he pulled out a gun and refused orders to surrender.

Police exchanged gunfire with Cook. Cook was hit several times and killed.
