Deputies: Alcohol a factor in rollover crash

McCracken County deputies were called to a rollover crash on Clinton Road Friday afternoon.  Deputies say Patricia Williford, 34, was driving a 2000 Ford F-150 northbound on Clinton Road and dropped off the right shoulder where the truck struck a mailbox and continued through a ditch where she attempted to regain control.

Williford managed to get the truck back on the road, but crossed the center-line and left the left side of the road where it overturned.

Deputies say Williford and her passenger, John Britt, 36, were both injured and taken to Lourdes Hospital.  Deputies say alcohol was a contributing factor.  Charges are being sought on Williford through the McCracken County Attorney’s Office.
