Three arrested in meth lab bust in Hardin, KY

Three people were arrested over the weekend after detectives found an active methamphetamine lab in Marshall County.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office says the meth lab was at a home on Starks Cemetery Lane in Hardin.

42-year-old Christy Hiett, 38-year-old Ty Howard, and 62-year-old Jeffrey Coblentz, all of Hardin, were arrested.

Hiett and Howard were both charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

Coblentz was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence.

Detectives say the tampering with physical evidence charge is the result of Coblentz trying to destroy/hide a plate containing meth from officers when they got to the home.

All three were taken to the Marshall County Detention Center.

More charges are pending.
