Jameson elected circuit judge in Marshall County

Public defender Jamie Jameson was elected Circuit Judge for Kentucky’s 42nd Judicial Circuit Tuesday.

Jameson won against Marshall County Attorney Jeff Edwards and Judge Randy Hutchens.

Jameson will succeed retiring judge Dennis Foust through 2022.

"Very humbling," Jameson said. "I’ve served in front of Judge South now since 2011, and I’ve known him since I was a kid when he used to do Little Dribblers and baseball and other things, and I’m very humbled. Some very big shoes to fill."
