ConAgra to sell west Kentucky plant

The ConAgra plant in Princeton, Kentucky, will soon be known as TreeHouse Foods. The company confirmed the sale of its private label operations Thursday.

ConAgra spokesman Dan Hare tells us no one at the Princeton plant will lose their jobs.

The plant is one of 32 facilities in the U.S., Canada and Italy sold to TreeHouse Foods for $2.7 billion, excluding transaction-related expenses.

Hare tells us the sale is not finalized yet, but ConAgra expects to close soon.
