Road closed for several hours in Paducah due to damaged power pole

A road in Paducah was closed for several hours Monday morning after a car hit a utility pole.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says a car was driving north on Clinton Road near Ora Lane when the driver swerved to miss an animal.

The car hit a utility pole, breaking it.

The road was closed for several hours to fix the broken pole.

The driver was not injured.
