Festival of Trees raising money to help local families during the holidays

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.

More than 20 trees line the hall for this year’s Festival of Trees.

Each one is decorated with a unique theme, including a tree inspired by the Grinch and another honoring local law enforcement.

"It is a very beautiful thing for visitors, patients, employees, everyone enjoys coming down here and enjoying the trees at this time of year," says Gail LaGesse, treasurer of the Lourdes Auxiliary Board.

If you see one you like, a $1 donation gets you a chance to win the tree.

The money goes to help people in the area.

The tress are on display until December 4.
