Deputies: Man likely blacked out causing him to hit house

McCracken County deputies tell Local 6 a driver of a truck may have had a medical issue when he drove into a house Saturday morning.

Deputies responded to the area of Hendron Road and Forest Ridge around 11:44am

They say Don Peck, 68, of Paducah, was driving a 2012 Dodge truck on Forest Ridge Drive and he told them he believed that he may have had a medical event, causing him to black out.

Peck’s 2012 Dodge truck then crossed the intersection of Hendron Road and hit a house.  There were people inside the house,  but no one was hurt.  Deputies say the home suffered structural damage.

Peck was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
