All Marshall County schools on two hour delay because of water main break
MARSHALL COUNTY, KY —
UPDATE: Marshall County schools will open today, but start two hours late.
The broken water main that has delayed the start of classes has been fixed.
A boil water order has been issued for all North Marshall Water District customer on US Highway 641 North from Terrace Hills to the intersection of Highway 641 North and Highway 68 West.
Customers on US Highway 68 West and side roads from the intersection of US 641 North to the McCracken County line are also under the boil order.
Almost 3,000 customers are under the boil order.
The boil order is in place until further notice.
ORIGINAL STORY: Classes at all Marshall County schools are delayed for two hours this morning because of a water main break.
Bus routes will also run on a two hour delay.
The North Marshall Water District says crews are working to repair the break.
No word on how long it will take to repair it.
