Autopsies completed on couple found dead in Mississippi River

Autopsies have been completed on the couple found dead earlier this week in the Mississippi River.

Mississippi County Coroner Terry Parker says Larry and Roxann McCoy both died of gunshot wounds.

Roxann had two gunshot wounds. Larry had one gunshot wound.

Parker says the bodies being thrown into the Mississippi River did not play a part in the cause of their deaths.

Police arrested their son, Thomas Wayne McRoy, in connection to their deaths.

He is charged with charged with two counts of first degree murder and two counts of criminal action for the deaths

Funeral arrangements have also been made for the couple.
