Gabriella Doolin went missing from a football game at Allen County-Scottsville High School on Saturday night. Her body was found about 25 minutes later in a creek in a wooded area behind the school.
Kentucky State Police on Friday arrested 38-year-old Timothy Madden of Scottsville and charged him with murder, kidnapping, first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy. He was being held in jail on $1 million bond.
Asked by a reporter as he was taken from the state police post to be booked if he had any comment, Madden replied, "I’m innocent."
The police citation in the case said Madden’s DNA was collected during the investigation and matched that recovered from the child during the autopsy.
