An intersection in Paducah will be closed Monday and Tuesday for ongoing construction.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says South 21st Street will be closed at the intersection with US 45/Kentucky Avenue.

The intersection will be closed at 7:00 a.m. on Monday and is expected to be open Tuesday evening.

Crews need the intersection closed for utility work.

Traffic will have to detour via South 16th Street or South 24th Street.
