Arrangements made for Frank Paxton funeral

Arrangements have been made for the funeral of former publisher of The Paducah Sun Frank Paxton, who died Monday at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center. He was 88.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Paducah, and the burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery. 

Paxton was publisher of The Paducah Sun-Democrat from 1961 to 1968, and later served as president of Paducah Bank and Trust. He served on the boards Lourdes, the Paducah Rotary Club, the Paducah-McCracken County Community Chest and the Paducah Chamber of Commerce.
