Army helicopter crashes near river in Tennessee

Multiple news media outlets are reporting that an Army helicopter has crashed in rural Tennessee.
The reports quote authorities as saying the aircraft is a Boeing AH-64 Apache from Fort Campbell, and that it was found in flames near the Cumberland River. It was not immediately clear how many were on board or if there were any casualties.
Master Sgt. Kevin Doheny with Fort Campbell said in a news release Wednesday night that the helicopter crashed around 7 p.m. Doheny said crew members were flying during a routine training mission when the aircraft went down. He said Montgomery County, Tennessee, law enforcement has secured the area, and the crash is under investigation.
Fort Campbell is located on the Kentucky-Tennessee border.
