3 dead in Weakley County crash with truck

Three people are confirmed dead after a two-vehicle crash in Weakley County.
    
According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol fatality report, multiple media outlets report that 38-year-old Theresa Weatherspoon, 35-year-old Kathy Boddie and her 1-year-old son Darion Boddie were killed Thursday afternoon when the SUV driven by Kathy Boddie was hit by a tractor-trailer at an intersection along Highway 43.
    
The truck driver, 53-year-old Ronald Richardson, was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
    
According to investigators, the SUV failed to halt at a stop sign and was hit by the truck.
    
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a full report on the crash is expected within a few weeks.
