Ballard County man makes plea agreement in animal torture case

Edward Ream, the Ballard County man accused of poisoning neighborhood pets, took a plea deal Friday afternoon.

He pleaded guilty to several counts including animal torture and criminal mischief.

Ream also admitted to using anti-freeze in the death of the animals.

As part of the plea agreement he will enter into a diversion program that includes several conditions he must adhere to.

He will be sentenced on January 15, 2016.
