Missing Jackson County, Illinois, teen found

UPDATE: The Jackson County, Illinois, Sheriff’s Department says a missing teenage girl was found "safe and sound" on Tuesday.

The sheriff’s department says many calls from members of the public helped to find 15-year-old Taylor Greenrod, who was reported missing on Monday. 

The Jackson County, Illinois Sheriff’s Department needs your help to find 15-year-old Taylor Greenrod. The Sheriff says her family reported her missing December 7th after she left home to visit a friend and never returned. She left home around 3:30 Monday afternoon and visited her friend around 6:45 in the evening. No one has heard from Greenrod since then.

The family told deputies that Greenrod requires medication and is considered endangered without her medication.

Taylor Greenrod is 5’7" and 175 pounds. She left home wearing dark blue jeans with holes in the knees, brown knee boots, black t-shirt and a black or dark blue hoodie with "Ohio" on the front.

Her family believes she’s traveling to Paducah to meet a friend.
