Suspect in weekend shooting turns himself in

A Paducah teenager wanted in connection to a shooting was arrested Tuesday evening.

Paducah Police say 18-year-old Damonterius Stigger turned himself in at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

He was wanted in connection to a shooting in the 1300 block of Walter Jetton Boulevard Sunday night.

According to the investigation, several people were involved in an altercation in the street and a number of shots were fired.

One man was shot in the arm and taken to a a local hospital for treatment. His name has not been released at this time.

Stigger was charged with wanton endangerment and jailed in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
