New Concord teenager dies after car hits tree

A New Concord teenager died after her car hit a tree.

The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Dasha Roberts was traveling south on Highway 121 near the intersection with Highway 339 when her car crossed the oncoming traffic lane, left the road, and hit a tree.

Roberts was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The sheriff’s office says Roberts was not wearing a seatbelt and that an investigation is ongoing.

Roberts was a student at Marshall County High School.
