McCracken County Fiscal Court seeking grant funds for rescue equipment

Rescue workers need the right equipment to help you and your family in an emergency. Monday night, the McCracken County Fiscal Court made a move to receive money to buy that equipment.

Members approved a measure to apply for federal money from the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security.

The grant amount the fiscal court is requesting is just under $20,000. There’s no timeline on when the office will approve or deny that grant request.
